It is able to convert protected and unprotected audio to MP3, AAC or WAV as well as converting unprotected and protected video clips to unprotected MP4 or AVI.

SoundTaxi gives us the first impression that it is easy to operate. And yes, indeed, with the intuitive interface, you can manage to use it within minutes. Once you open the program, it can automatically popup a window direct you to select the files you want to convert and will launch converting after all files select. The default converted audio format is MP3 and video format is MP4 that fits iPod with good quality. You can change these settings upon the setting button.
This program supports batch conversion and preserves ID3 tags for artist, album, title name etc. and supports high quality conversions. In order to convert your DRM protected files, your computer must be authorized to play the protected files.
Refer to the sound quality, we tested and found that a few converted songs get skipped for a second and there is no problem with the other programs we test here, such as NoteBurner and Tunebite. But the converted videos are as good as the original.
